Argentinian Empandas

Exquisite product that follows a long tradition of Empanadas in Argentina. The dough is made of wheat flour and it is stuffed with beef, chicken, ham & cheese, or spinach along with perfectly mixed ingredients such as onions, peppers, tomato, olives, eggs, salt, and paprika and perfectly baked. Its flaky pastry gives this empanada a unique texture that distinguishes it from the others. It is consumed in any occasion, breakfast, light lunch, snack or dinner.

Colombian Empanadas

Like in Argentina, in Colombia each region has its own empanada. Our Colombia empanada is made with corn flour and fried which gives its characteristic crunchy cornmeal exterior, rather than the white flour as the Argentinean or Cuban empanada. The filling is beef or chicken with potato stuffing or cheese, and t is usually consumed with traditional Colombian Aji (dipping hot sauce).

This product can be found in cafeterias, bakeries, restaurants or supermarkets to be enjoyed with cup of coffee for breakfast, light lunch, snack or dinner. It has become an economic alternative to fast food for health conscious consumers that want to enjoy great flavor and the convenience of easy preparation.

Venezuelan Empanadas

Venezuelan empanadas are made with pre-cooked corn flour dough and fried. It is stuffed with shredded beef, chicken, or cheese and it is slightly bigger than the Argentinean or Colombia empanada. The empanadas can be eaten at any time of the day, but it’s usually consumed as a breakfast or dinner and is frequently served with Salsa (Guasacaca) and/or hot sauce. It is extremely popular and can be bought in cafeterias, bakeries and restaurants.

Cuban Empanadas

Cuban empanadas are typically filled with seasoned meats (usually ground beef or chicken), folded into dough, and deep fried. Cubans also sometimes refer to empanadas as empanaditas. Empanadas can also be made with cheese, guayaba, or a mixture of both.

Tequeños (Venezuelan Cheese Sticks)

Tequeño is a hand-made snack, prepared with bread dough and white cheese. A stick of white cheese is wrapped with the dough and deep fried or baked. It is one of the most popular Venezuelan snack foods at parties, especially weddings and celebrations and is sought after by children and adults. In other countries, like in Colombia, the Tequeño is known as Dedito de Queso and it is also very popular in some Caribbean island like Dominican Republic.
